Eco Urban School takes people out of the classroom and onto the city's own ground: a stretch of coast tangled in legal problems, a beach full of plastic. What happens there is the best argument for the school's projects, and it is gone by the evening unless somebody films it.
We filmed two of the school's sessions on the Odesa coast and cut each into a short documentary. The first follows the participants learning to look at a territory with the eyes of a specialist. The second follows a beach clean-up run as a scientific study of the plastic on the shore.
Shot on the day of each session, interviews included, then edited, graded and subtitled. The second film is released in English and Ukrainian.
