film.partners is a production studio. This site describes what the studio does, publishes indicative ranges for it, and gives you tools to work out the shape of a piece of work before speaking to anybody: a scope builder, a brand audit, and a workspace to keep the results in.

Using the public pages requires nothing of you. Signing in creates an account, and these terms apply to it from that moment.

Every figure this site produces is an estimate and none of them is an offer. The builder prices a configuration against a published rate card and a set of assumptions about how long work of that kind takes; change one answer and the number changes, which is the point of it.

A range shown against a saved scope is the range as it stood on the day you saved it. It is deliberately not re-costed on today's numbers, so that what you were shown stays what you were shown.

The only binding figure is the one in a written quote or a signed proposal. If a figure on this site and a figure in a proposal disagree, the proposal is the one that counts.

Where your country is not one of the markets on our rate card, the range is worked out against the nearest market that is, and the site says so at the moment you choose it. That is an approximation and it is described as one.

Booking holds a real slot in the studio's diary. Please cancel if you cannot make it — the slot is not a formality and somebody else could have had it.

A discovery session is a conversation. Nothing said in one commits either side to anything, and nothing in it is charged for.

You are responsible for the Google account you sign in with. We authenticate through Google and never handle your password, so the security of your account is the security of that one.

What you put in your desk is yours. The scopes, briefs and brand profile you write belong to you; we use them to price and make the work you have asked for and for nothing else. Ask us to delete the account and everything in it goes with it.

Do not put anything in here that you are not entitled to share. If a brief needs an NDA before it can be written down, say so and we will sign one first — there is a question in the audit for exactly that.

A proposal is issued to a person, at an address of its own, behind a password. Treat that address and that password as confidential: anybody who has both can read the proposal, and the site cannot tell them apart from you.

Approving a proposal is a deliberate act with your name and the date attached, and it is what turns a proposal into a commissioned piece of work. The terms of the work itself are the ones in that document.

The films, images, writing, code and design on this site belong to the studio or to the clients whose work is shown, and are published here to show what we do. You may link to any of it and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own, use it to train a model, or scrape the site systematically.

Ownership of a commissioned film is settled in that film's own proposal, and it is normally yours on final payment. Nothing on this page changes that.

The builder, the audit, the document generator and the booking form are here for people considering working with us. Automated or repeated use that costs the studio money — scripted bookings, bulk document generation, scraping — is not, and the site limits how often one caller may reach those endpoints.

Do not attempt to reach another person's desk, another person's proposal, or any part of the system you have not been given. If you find a way to, please tell us at the address below rather than using it; we will thank you properly.

This is a working site rather than a service you have bought. We do not promise it will be available at any particular moment, that a figure it produces is free of error, or that a feature will still exist next month. Where something on it is wrong, we would rather be told than not.

Nothing on this site is professional advice, and no liability is accepted for a decision taken on the strength of an estimate. Liability for the work itself is dealt with in the proposal for that work, which is where it belongs.

These terms change when the site does. The date at the top says when they last did, and the previous version has no continuing effect; if a change matters to a client with work in progress, we will say so directly rather than leaving it to be noticed here.
