CMO @ Wood&Hearts

Wood&Hearts

The team was faced with a daunting challenge: filming eight children — from four months to four years old — across four locations, all in a single day. Despite the complexity, the shoot was incredibly smooth and stress-free. They captured authentic, one-of-a-kind emotions while showing our products in the best possible light.

The challenge

Wood&Hearts began in a rehabilitation centre: the founder's daughter, diagnosed with a language delay, practised on a balancing board and it helped. That origin is the reason the furniture exists and the wrong note to sell it on — a parent shopping for their child is not shopping for therapy. The film had to carry one message, the founder's own: this furniture is fun for kids.

The solution

We built the film around two voices rather than one. A woman carries the first half — a mother's mindset, her care for her own child — and a man the second, speaking for Wood&Hearts and what the company knows about how children develop and how to keep them safe while they do. The turn between them is the whole structure: the film asks as a parent and answers as a maker.
